Miami man charged in crash that killed 3 kids

MIAMI (AP) - A Miami man is charged with three counts of DUI manslaughter for a horrific car crash that left three children dead.

Prosecutors say 40-year-old Gabriel Delrisco's blood-alcohol
content was almost three times the legal limit when the crash
happened Sunday morning. Police say Delrisco was driving an SUV
that plowed into the back of a minivan stopped at a red light south
of Miami.

Killed in the crash were 10-year-old Hector Serrano, 7-year-old
Esmeralda Serrano and 4-year-old Amber Serrano. Their father
survived the crash. Delrisco was charged after leaving the hospital
Friday.

Records show Delrisco has been cited for traffic violations 26
times since 2001. The DUI manslaughter charges carry maximum prison
sentences of 15 years each.
