Why can't Alabama have a lottery? Are we realy that holy? Yet our schools are suffering for funding. Fla. has donated $19 billion dollars to their education systems. In Shorter Al people are gambling, in Dothan they are debating about eletronic bingo in the same state, go figure. Well if religion is the reason for no lottery, then let the church fund the much need monies for our school system, put their money where there mouth is. Our large churches want be willing to do that because they have their on school for thier young kids. Have our morals gotten so high we are willing to sacrifice an education for our children? They are our future, don't we all want little Johnny to be able read? When you put a $1...into a 401k, is not the reason is to get a greater return? What is that? In my Bible i find a story about three men given; 5, 2, and one talent. Two of them put their talents to the money changers and doubled their monies, sounds like a risk being taken to me.
