Ocala teenager dies while in custody at Polk County youth facility

OCALA, Fla. (AP) - Polk County authorities say an Ocala teenager
who collapsed at a youth offender facility has died.

John W. Kingcade collapsed on a basketball court at the Avon
Park Youth Academy Juvenile Detention Facility on Monday.

The sheriff's office said that investigators don't suspect foul
play in Kingcade's death, but authorities will conduct an autopsy.

The 17-year-old, who was convicted of trafficking in cocaine on
Dec. 16, had been at the facility since Dec. 23.
