Small plane crashes in Titusville park

MELBOURNE, Fla. (AP) - Sheriff's officials say a student pilot
crashed his plane at Enchanted Forest Park in Titusville on
Florida's east coast but appears to have escaped serious injury.

Maj. Greg Purden of the Brevard County Sheriff's says the
accident occurred about 9 p.m. Saturday. Deputies flying over the
wreckage of the single-engine Cessna in a helicopter say the pilot
crashed in thick foliage.

Purden says it appears the man walked out of the woods himself.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
