The publication scoured news archives to determine which of the
nation's 100 largest cities received the fewest media mentions in
2008, after being adjusted for population size.
Joining Hialeah - in no particular order - were the Phoenix
bedroom communities of Mesa, Chandler and Gilbert; the Los Angeles
suburb of Santa Ana; and on the outskirts of Las Vegas, North Las
Vegas and Henderson.
Mayor Julio Robaina disputed the findings, saying: "Hialeah has
more than 250,000 people. Obviously something is keeping them
