Fla. woman, 85, with memory problems missing

PALM BAY, Fla. (AP) - Police in Palm Bay are searching for an 85-year-old woman with memory problems who has gone missing.

Authorities issued a Silver Alert last week when Frances Senter didn't return home, but they've made little progress since then on finding clues to her whereabouts. Foul play is not suspected.

Senter was last seen driving a gray 1991 Oldsmobile station wagon with the tag number X90 VGX. Senter had mentioned to her daughter that she'd like to visit her husband's grave in New Jersey, but Kathleen Senter notes that her mother doesn't have any money with her.

Florida's Silver Alert program was established last fall. It's designed to help find missing seniors with cognitive disabilities and is modeled after Amber Alerts used for missing children.
