JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A north Florida man faces charges in the beating death of a 5-week-old boy.
Authorities allege 20-year-old Jonpaul Anthony Harms hit his girlfriend's child twice on the back of the boy's head, because he wouldn't stop crying.
The child was taken Dec. 20 to the hospital in cardiac arrest and pronounced dead minutes later. An autopsy cited blunt-force trauma as the cause of death.
