Some laid-off workers at a Panama City paper mill should soon be back at work.
Smurfit-Stone Container Company announced last month that some 400 employees were being laid-off as part of a temporary shut-down due to the weak economy.
Company officials say some maintenance workers will be called back to work around the first of the year.
The plant will be brought gradually back on-line.
The rest of the hourly employees should be reporting back to work by January 10th.
The paper mill manufactures corrugated containers.
