HOBE SOUND, Fla. (AP) - Businesses in southeast Florida are
being told to watch out for fake $50 bills being used at stores.
A report by the Martin County Sheriff's Office says a man tried
to use one of the bills Monday afternoon at a Publix in Hobe Sound.
The cashier noticed the bill was fake and called security.
The man then left the store. Another Publix in Jupiter also had several
fake $50 bills used on Sunday.
The man in the first case has not been identified.
