HOLIDAY, Fla. (AP) - Four people are being held in the Land O'
Lakes jail for defrauding elderly men.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, two women
threatened to sue an 80-year-old man if he didn't give them $5,000
cash. In another case, three people persuaded a 77-year-old man
suffering from demential to apply for credit cards.
The police report says they then charged over $30,000 on the card.
Police say 55-year-old Susan Latzko was arrested in connection
with both cases.
She faces two scheming to defraud charges and a
charge of exploitation of the elderly.
Also arrested were 27-year-old Christopher Birdsong, 23-year-old Maria Birdsong and 21-year-old Stephanie Bautista. All face charges of scheming to defraud and exploitation of the elderly.
