ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) - Family members of prisoners at
Pinellas County Jail will soon visit their loved ones by video.
The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office has a new video visitation bus, equipped with five laptop computers, which will travel to two
sites in Largo and St. Petersburg.
Authorities will hold a demonstration Friday.
The goal is to facilitate visits for families who may have
trouble making it to the jail's central visitation center.
