MIAMI SPRINGS, Fla. (AP) - Two teens have been arrested in connection with the fatal shooting of a Miami Springs police dispatcher's baby.
Detectives arrested 16-year-old Jimmie Bown and 17-year-old Bernard Jones on Thursday.
Police say the teens were feuding with a rival gang when the shooting happened.
Police say a masked gunman ran up to a group of men playing dominoes outside and began firing Saturday afternoon.
Ten-month-old Derrick Days II was sitting on his father's lap when he was hit.
Another member of a rival gang was also fatally shot.
The infant's mother is 24-year-old Shiketa Duberry.
The Miami Springs Fraternal Order of Police, the department's union, helped raise money for Derrick's funeral service.
A wake will be held Friday.
