MIAMI (AP) - Federal immigration officials say deportations to Haiti have resumed just three months after they stopped returning residents to the storm-ravaged country.

Authorities temporarily suspended flights to Haiti in September
after four deadly storms racked the country, killing hundreds.

Local leaders say conditions in Haiti have not improved since at
least 425 people were killed and thousands left homeless by severe
flooding after the storms.

A school collapse last month also killed nearly 100 people.

The mayor of Port-au-Prince has estimated that 60 percent of the city's buildings are unsafe.

Skyrocketing food prices also sparked violent protests before the storms.
