FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (AP) - Investigators plan to file murder
charges against three suspects in a string of violent robberies of
Dunkin' Donuts stores in South Florida.
A man standing in line at one of the Dunkin' Donuts stores on
Thanksgiving Day has died. Several other customers were injured.
Authorities said Monday they believe some of the suspects were
also involved in the fatal shooting of a man walking down a
Lauderhill street weeks earlier.
Police have linked three men to the Lauderhill murder:
23-year-old Tharod Bell, 18-year-old Charles Faustin, and
19-year-old James Herard. They're being held at the Broward County
jail without bond. So are 23-year-old Jonathan Jackson and
20-year-old Calvin Weatherspoon.
They're charged in the holdups but not in the Lauderhill slaying.
