The Bay County Sheriff's deputies are on the look out for a man they believe attempted to kidnap a woman.

The Bay County Sheriff's deputies said a 48-year-old woman was on her way to work at the McDonald's on Thomas Drive in Panama City Beach when a man in a white truck stopped and offered her a ride.

She refused and continued on her way. But then he grabbed her and tried forcing her into the truck.

She was able to get away, but so was the man.

The deputies are now looking for a 6-foot, blonde haired main with a mustache.

He may be wearing a checkered shirt and driving a full size white Dodge pick-up truck.

The deputies are releasing what they believe is the tag description, but it is only a partial description: 723.

The attempted kidnapping suspect was last seen heading south bound on Thomas Drive.

If you have any information you can call the Bay County Sheriff's Office at 747-4700.
