RLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A line of storms has damaged homes and knocked out power in parts of central Florida.
Florida Power & Light crews were working Sunday evening to restore power to more than 1,600 customers in Port Orange and Brevard County.
About 1,600 Orlando Utilities Commission customers lost power earlier Sunday, but spokeswoman Erika Hodges said it was restored by the evening.

Police there said motorists and residents began calling around 3:40 p.m. about what they thought was a tornado.
Weather officials said radar suggested brief tornadic activity throughout central Florida.
As of Sunday evening, they couldn't confirm a tornado, but senior meteorologist Scott Spratt said conditions were ripe.
