On November 26, 2008 around 11: 27 a.m. deputies from the Walton County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to a residence on Pleasant Ridge Road reference an attempted break-in that was in progress.
The call came in from a female who was there by herself at the residence. She advised that a male subject was trying to get into her house. She was able to give the dispatcher a description of the subject.
Deputies were on scene within three minutes. A perimeter was set up by the deputies and the K-9 unit from Walton Corrections responded.
At approximately 12:59 p.m. the subject was located in the woods.
During the investigation it was learned that the subject’s name was Keith Michael Wagner, age 36 out of Canal Fulton, Ohio.
He had outstanding warrants out of Ohio; one with the FBI for bank robbery and one with the city of Canton Ohio for robbery.
Charges are also pending out of Escambia County Florida for grand theft auto. Charges are also pending out of Walton County.
Keith Michael Wagner was arrested and transported to the Walton County Jail Facility.
