A sheriff's deputy in Walton County has been placed on administrative leave after he was charged with DUI.
Deputy Cullen Coraine was pulled over on Highway 98 near Sandestin around 9 p.m, Sunday night. Authorities say he was going 80 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone.
Coraine is charged with one count of driving under the influence and was cited for speeding.
He was taken to the Walton County Jail and has since posted a $500 bond.
Corraine was not on duty at the time of his arrest.
He has been placed on administrative leave depending the outcome of an internal investigation.
