POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - A Pompano Beach spokeswoman says a
fire at a home filled with explosives left a 65-year-old man
Spokeswoman Sandra King said the man was in a bed that caught
fire Sunday morning.
The man's 21-year-old tenant pulled him off the bed and out of the house.
When firefighters arrived at the scene minutes later, they tried
to extinguish the blaze from inside the house.
But that's when they heard popping sounds and decided to leave the house.
