WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (AP) - A Winter Haven man has been charged
with manslaughter after authorities say he gave drugs to a woman
who fatally overdosed.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office says 45-year old Mark Kingham
was charged Thursday with the April 2007 death of Aleisa Anne
Lemacks.

Paramedics responded to Kingham's home where they found Lemacks
alone inside a car that was parked behind the house. She was
hospitalized for an overdose and died several weeks later.

Detectives and prosecutors say Kingham's home was a known drug
house, specifically for cocaine. For this reason, authorities say
Lemacks' death was a result of Kingham's culpable negligence.

The charge is a second-degree felony, and carries a potential 15
year prison term. Bail has not been set. It was unclear if he had
an attorney.
