TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) - Two people killed in a Tallahassee
small plane crash have been identified as a New York State couple.
Donald and Victoria Hess, both 64, of Clarence, N.Y., died
Thursday night after their plane crashed in a residential
neighborhood just two miles short of the runway. Three people on
the ground were hurt, but none had life-threatening injuries.
Donald Hess was co-founder of a technology company and chairman
of the board of Hauptman-Woodward Medical Research Institute.
Victoria Hess was the sister-in-law of Tallahassee lawyer Kurt
Kiser. Kiser, a former state senator, told the Tallahassee Democrat
newspaper the couple were flying to attend Florida State
University's football game Saturday against Boston College.
