JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - The man charged with attempted murder
in the shooting of Jacksonville Jaguars offensive lineman Richard
Collier is scheduled to appear in court.
Tyrone Hartsfield's arraignment is scheduled for Monday morning
in Duval County, Florida, Circuit Court.
Collier, a former standout at Valdosta State, was shot 14 times on Sept. 2 and is paralyzed from the waist down. His left leg had to be amputated. He was released from the hospital last month.
Police have said Hartsfield wanted revenge after he and Collier fought in April outside a nightclub.
The team has paid tribute to Collier by keeping his locker intact in the area shared by offensive linemen.
