Firefighters Fight Warehouse Blaze

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Officials say firefighters were
battling a huge blaze at a 25,000-square-foot warehouse in Pompano

Fire-Rescue spokeswoman Sandra King said the three-alarm fire
started at 5:20 p.m. Monday.

Three businesses occupied the building, and King said propane and other flammable materials were being stored inside.

Pompano Beach firefighters were assisted by several other jurisdictions. King said 16 fire trucks and at least 60 firefighters responded to the scene.

No injuries were reported. Kings said the building will likely be a total loss.
