BRANDON, Fla. (AP)- BRANDON, Fla. (AP) - According to a Hillsborourgh Sheriff's spokeswoman, a hospital patient stabbed an emergency room doctor with a steak knife, but the physician's injuries weren't life-threatening.
In a news release, Hillsborourgh Sheriff's spokeswoman Debbie Carter said 30-year-old Carolyn Faulk became angry when she was
given a discharge order at Brandon Regional Medical Center on
Tuesday night. Faulk, of Plant City, stabbed Marisel Juarbe with a
steak knife she pulled out of her purse.
A detention deputy who was at the hospital to visit a family
member helped separate Faulk and the doctor.
