DADE CITY, Fla. (AP) - Authorities in Florida say a Zephyrhills man was
killed when a freight train hit his sport utility vehicle.
According to a Florida Highway Patrol report, 79-year-old Robert Stephens was driving the SUV Wednesday afternoon when it pulled onto the tracks and into the train's path.
The FHP reports there were no crossing gates at the location and the front of the engine hit the SUV's right-side.
