Prisoner Escape

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) - Authorities are searching for an inmate
who escaped from a federal prison in Pensacola.

According to U.S. Marshals officials, Joaquin Rios was first discovered missing Tuesday afternoon when he failed to show for a head count.

Rios was doing lawn maintenance at the Pensacola Naval Air Station when he disappeared.

Rios, 40, was serving time for drug charges, including cocaine
possession and money laundering.

Authorities are investigating whether Rios had any outside assistance in his escape.
