Authorities in Florida have confiscated over one-hundred dogs trained for a dog fighting ring over the weekend.

The Jacksonville, Florida sheriff’s office arrested four suspects facing felony charges for potential dog fighting rings and drug use.
Investigators confirmed all the dogs are pit bulls.

Officials say the pit bulls are very aggressive and received injuries including bite marks and sores.

Animal care and control said they could only transport five dogs at a time and have already euthanized 90 pit bulls.

Police say this investigation has been going on for months.

Animal control hopes to put the remaining dogs up for adoption within the next few days.
