Tropical Storm Fay left behind flooding and other damage when it
churned across Florida in late August.
Now, officials in Florida have announced that farmers in fifty nine
Florida counties hit hard by Tropical Storm Fay will now qualify for
The U.S Department of Agriculture is declaring thirty six counties
throughout the state as primary natural disaster areas an also named
twenty three Florida counties as contiguous disaster counties.
Farmers in those counties will now be considered for assistance from
the Farm Service Agency.
