Bay County Sheriff Frank McKeithen announced Wednesday the arrest of three individuals in connection with a home invasion robbery in the early morning hours of Friday.
Investigators believe the three suspects entered an apartment at 322 Burkett Drive in Callaway armed with firearms. Once inside, the three males stole items including cellular phones, a laptop computer, and forced a woman in the apartment to perform sexual acts on the three suspects.
The three arrested are Leon Causey, Ladarius Bryant and Vanshone Bryant.
Investigators were able to connect Causey to the incident when he was identified as using one of the stolen cellular phones.
He was arrested and booked into the Bay County Jail.
Contact was made Wednesday with Ladarius and Vanshone Bryant. They were booked into the Bay County Jail and transferred to the Department of Juvenile Justice.
All three suspects have been charged with Armed Burglary of An Occupied Dwelling, Home Invasion Robbery, and Armed Sexual Battery by Multiple Perpetrators.
Vanshone Bryant faces an additional charge of Possession of a Counterfeit Controlled Substance With Intent to Distribute in reference to a substance in his possession at the time of his arrest. The substance was intended to look like crack cocaine.
The investigation continues and additional charges are anticipated.
