LAKE WORTH, Fla. (AP) - He's only 4 years old, but Steven Shore
is already a hero.

Steven was honored Tuesday in Lake Worth for saving a 4-year-old
girl at a birthday swimming party.

Steven has already had two years of swimming lessons.

When he saw the girl go under the water he first yelled at her to float on
her back.

When she didn't, he swam over to her, helped her keep her
face above water and paddled with her until they got to a ladder.

Steven's mom says she wouldn't have seen the girl except for her
son.

For his heroism, Steven got a plaque, a plastic fire hat, a sheriff's star sticker and a ride on the fire truck.
