DESTIN, Fla. (AP) -- A Louisiana man is in intensive care after his personal watercraft crashed under a bridge in the Florida Panhandle.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission spokesman Gary Morse says Ivan Cabrera of Plaquemine, La., was injured when the watercraft he was driving crashed Wednesday into a piling under a Destin bridge.
Also injured was Cabrera's passenger, Brady Creighton of Plaquemine, La. Morse tells the Northwest Florida Daily News (http://bit.ly/15IAFKG ) that Creighton was treated at a hospital and released.
Fort Walton Beach Medical Center officials say Cabrera was being treated in the intensive care unit.
Morse says the crash remains under investigation.
