The Bay County grand jury indicted two men Friday in separate incidents of first degree murder.
The grand jury indicted Damon Manzell Washington on felony first degree murder and robbery with a firearm charges in the death of Christopher Purswell on March 1. Jurors found that Washington, 21, was a principal in the robbery and shooting of Purswell, 19.
Jurors also indicted David Lee Clanton of premeditated first degree
murder in the death of Arthur Edward Moore on Sept. 8. According to the indictment, Clanton, 33, strangled Moore, 69, of Youngstown.
Both cases will be reviewed by a panel of senior prosecutors to determine whether the death penalty should be pursued.
