17-Year-Old Driver Killed in Morning Crash

A Kinard Florida man was killed this morning in Calhoun County after his car collided with another on CR 392.

According to a report from Florida Highway Patrol, Ryan Flowers, 17, was driving eastbound on 392 when his 1999 Ford F-150 made a left turn and crossed into the path of a 1998 Kenworth T800. The Kenworth, driven by Raymond E. Pelt, 45, of East Point Fl, hit the left side portion of Flowers’ truck.

The vehicles came to a final rest on the north bound shoulder of SR 71.
Pelt was not injured in the accident.
