Authorities believe a missing 13-year-old girl from Florida may be in the Atlanta area with a registered sex offender.

An Amber Alert has been issued by Wakulla County Florida investigators for the teen.

Police extended the Amber Alert from Florida to the Atlanta area for Briana Schultheis of Wakulla, Florida.

Steve Lazarus, a spokesman with the FBI in Atlanta, said authorities believe Schultheis may have traveled by Greyhound Bus to Atlanta with 31-year-old Raymond Lewis.

Florida police say her father had hired Lewis to do some odd jobs.
