The Mobile Press-Register reports that Harvie Lee Hunt was booked into the Mobile County Metro Jail on Friday.

The 59-year-old Irvington man was charged with second-degree assault and released later that evening with bail set at $3,000.

Records indicate he is scheduled to appear in court August 29th.

Authorities say Hunt is accused of stabbing Agolia Moore, the mother of Simone Moore, who served as the minister of music at New Welcome Baptist Church.

Authorities say a fight broke out at the church Sunday during a dispute over money.
