Three black male teenagers did the same thing in Houston County in June 1991. They have NEVER served a sentencing for their crimes. They struck my neice's head as her mom drove the car down Kinsey Road heading home and it passed through windshield and struck her brain. She has never been the same. She was 10 at the time. They were sentenced to pay half of all medical bills since they were 14, 17, 17 but NEVER have they paid a dime and never did they serve any time in juvenile detention much less jail. Does color matter? My neice has had to endure many brain surgeries, plastic surgeries and medical bills topping a million dollars from the 90's plus interest. This has brought significant strain to her parents and they divorced. There are liens against property but many of us the local judges did not bring justice to this situation.
