Williams Now the Primary Suspect

On Wednesday, January 26, 2011 a Cottondale couple, Bruce and Sharon Williams, were found murdered in their home. Law Enforcement is searching for their son Wade Andrew Williams. Wade Williams has now been identified as the primary suspect in the death of his parents. The search has spread from Jackson County into Holmes County, Florida and has now been extended into Alabama and Georgia.

On Thursday, January 27, 2011 a Florida Fish and Wildlife Officer found Bruce Williams’ truck burned in the Choctawhatchee Wildlife Management Area in Holmes County. Later Thursday night law enforcement received information that a motorist had given a hitchhiker, that matched the description of Wade Williams, a ride from U.S. Highway 231 near the Florida-Alabama State line, to Highway 431 in Abbeville, Alabama.

Wade Williams also has a felony warrant for Grand Theft of a Motor Vehicle. Williams is 35 years of age, 5’09 and 175-190 pounds. Suspect may be clean shaven at this time including his head. He also has a Tazmanian Devil tribal tattoo on his right arm, a tribal tattoo on his left arm and a nail tattoo on his chest in the shape of a cross. Subject is an avid outdoorsman and may possibly be frequenting remote wooded areas. Williams may also be armed.
