Wicksburg Student Arrested for "Hit" List

Houston County Sheriff's investigators arrested a 13-year-old boy who said that he planned to kill several students at Wicksburg School.

Sheriff Andy Hughes said the investigators arrested the teenager at the school Tuesday afternoon.

Hughes said the suspect had a list of people that he did not like and that he planned to kill.

He said the teenager was charged with felony making a terrorist threat.

Sheriff Hughes said that the student planned to carry out the attacks.

Hughes added that the teen was taken to the Southeast Alabama Diversion Center in Dothan.

On May 22, 2010 the Houston County Sheriff's Office received information of a threat of violence to persons at Wicksburg High School by a student that attends the school. This information came from the school administration.

The Houston County Sheriff's Office investigation revealed evidence of the allegations and the student had access to the means of carrying out the threats.

The Houston County Sheriff's Office charged the juvenile with making Terroristic Threats and was taken to the S.E. Alabama Diversion Center.

    Time to clean up out at Wicksburg. Looks like it is time for new administration. Wicksburg is in bad need of new teachers and principals!!!
