Washington County Makes Drug Arrest

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Panama City Beach woman on drug charges late Monday evening.

While on patrol, WCSO deputies observed a suspicious vehicle in eastern Washington County. Subsequently deputies found “ICE” methamphetamines along with syringes in the suspect’s purse.

“ICE” is a large crystal form of high-purity methamphetamine hydrochloride. Ice derives its name from its appearance: large, clear crystals that resemble chunks of ice, shards of broken glass, or rock candy.

Arrested was:

Austin Ivie Whitmire, 21 year old white female of Panama City Beach, FL
• Possession of “ICE” Methamphetamines
• Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

Whitmire is being held at the Washington County Jail.

You are such a pretty young woman with your whole life ahead of you. Why get on drugs ? They'll take you down a long road, where you'll do ungodly things for money just to get high. You are 21 now and look young, later you'll have wrinkles and you'll look old. You'll probably be about 23 and you'll look a old worn out 35, if not older appearance. Do you want that ?
