“This is perfect example of why we stress the far reaching effect of illegal drug use in our community and its direct impact on burglary and theft” states Sheriff Haddock. “A rise in illegal drug use results in a rise in burglaries, thefts and other crimes. The correlation demands our attention and the philosophy that a drug user’s only victim is themselves couldn’t be less true. We all pay the price for illegal drug use and we all have to invest in finding a solution.”
Cone is being held at the Washington County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
