Two Walton County Women Arrested for Aggravated Battery

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office (WCSO) today announces the arrest of Jessica Shipman, 19, of Ponce De Leon, Fla., and Mary Randolph, 46, of DeFuniak Springs, Fla., on aggravated battery charges. They were arrested November 26.

The WCSO investigation began Nov. 26 after deputies responded to an alleged domestic violence call located at 625 Knox Hill Road in Ponce De Leon, Fla.

Following the event, Shipman’s mother, Randolph, allegedly struck the pregnant woman in the face. Shipman allegedly continued the altercation by repeatedly striking the pregnant woman.

Shipman was charged with one count of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon without intent to kill, a third-degree felony; and two counts of aggravated battery on a pregnant victim, a second-degree felony.

Randolph was charged with two counts of aggravated battery on a pregnant victim, a second-degree felony.

Shipman and Randolph were booked into the Walton County Jail.

Ah, I've heard of this before. This is how backwoods country people handle situations. When these women get out of jail, if the brother is the one that called the law he's in for serious *ss kicking. So he better book it on down the road while there is still time.
