Two Wanted for Theft of Property Have Been Caught

On November 13, 2013 the Dothan Police Department issued warrants for the arrest of Doni Bywater and Marcus Dyck, charging both with second degree theft of property.

Investigators say that on November 11, 2013, Bywater and Dyck entered the Wal-Mart Supercenter located at 3300 South Oates Street and took over $500.00 in merchandise from the property without paying.

The two suspects fled the scene prior to officer’s arrival, but through information gathered from witnesses to the incident, investigators were able to identify Bywater and Dyck as the subjects responsible for the crime.

Bywater and Dyck were taken into custody in Dale County, Alabama and will be held at the Dale County Jail until they are returned to Dothan.

Doni Christine Bywater, white female, 22 years of age, of Ozark, Alabama was arrested and charged with second degree Theft of Property. A bond amount has been set at $2,500.00.

Marcus Gerrell Dyck, black male, 33 years of age, of Ozark, Alabama was arrested and charged with second degree Theft of Property. A bond amount has been set at $15,000.00.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
