Two Dothan Women Arrested for Receiving Stolen Property

On December 2, 2013 the Dothan Police Department arrested Serena Walker and Jamekia Chambers, charging both with second degree receiving stolen property.

Investigators say both Walker and Chamber’s went to the Wal-Mart Supercenter, located at 4310 Montgomery Highway and were observed placing several items into Wal-Mart grocery bags. The two then attempted to exit the store without paying for the items, but were quickly detained by store employees.

Walker and Chamber’s arrests now bring this case to a close.

19-year-old Serena Nicole Walker, of South Bell Street was arrested and charged with second degree Receiving Stolen Property. A bond amount has been set at $2,500.00.

20-year-old Jamekia Lashay Chambers of Meridian Street was arrested and charged with second degree Receiving Stolen Property. A bond amount has been set at $2,500.00.

All persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
