Troy Police Seek Shooting Suspect

Troy Police responded to a 911 call in reference to an alleged shooting in the vicinity of The Chandler Apartments on Folmar Street at approximately 11:30 a.m. Thursday according to information released by Chief Anthony Everage.

The suspect allegedly shot the victim one time in the chest in the parking lot of the apartment complex. This incident is believed to domestic related.

The suspect vehicle was identified gold Buick Roadmaster. Police were advised that the suspect vehicle fled the scene and could be in route to Brundidge. TPD notified Brundidge PD to be on the lookout for this vehicle.

The suspect vehicle was reported to be occupied by the black male suspect in this case, a black female and two juveniles.

The suspect vehicle was located by TPD at a residence on Madison Street at approximately1:45 p.m. The suspect was not at the residence. TPD seized the vehicle for further investigation in this case.

The victim was transported to Troy Regional Medical Center for treatment of a gunshot wound to the chest by Care Ambulance. The victim was airlifted to Baptist South Hospital in Montgomery in critical condition

This case is still under investigation by Troy Police.
