Troy Police responded to a 911 call in reference to an alleged domestic violence and shooting on Pike County road 5513 near Pike County road 5511 at approximately 9:30 p.m. Thursday (6/2) according to information released by Chief Anthony Everage.
TPD responded to an alleged domestic violence incident and a shooting at the residence on CR 5513.
A 35-year-old white male and a 34-year-old white female were involved in the domestic violence case and a 61-year-old white male and the 35-year-old white male were involved in the shooting. The 35-year-old male was shot with a handgun by the 61-year-old male. No arrest has been made at this time in either of the cases.
The gunshot victim was transported to Troy Regional Medical Center’s Emergency Room for treatment of gunshot wounds to the upper torso. He was later transferred to Baptist Medical Center – South in Montgomery.
Troy Police have not released the identities of the subjects involved these incidents due to the ongoing investigations. Troy Police are being assisted in this investigation by 12th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office.
This case is still under investigation by the Troy Police Department.
