TROY, AL - Andre Ellis was convicted by a jury today on all 3 counts of rape.
Ellis was found guilty of raping two women in March of last year at Hunter's Mountain Mobile Estates in Troy.
Ellis' trial began on Monday. Attorneys presented closing arguments Friday morning.
The jury was charged before lunch. Jurors deliberated for two-and-a-half hours. They returned a verdict around 3:00 p.m.
Defense attorneys argued there was reasonable doubt in the case. There was no DNA evidence linking Ellis to either victim.
However, both women separately picked Ellis out of line-up.
Attorneys say they'll seek a sentence of life without parole. A sentencing date has not yet been set.
