After years in prison, it can be difficult to transition back into society.
That's why the Keener Foundation was created in Dothan.
The organization started in April and is already serving people in and out of prison.
The foundation offers job preparation and life skills to those who have been incarcerated.
"When you've been living in years of confinement, or you've been living in some form of confinement whether it's a behavior center, a correctional facility, you've really not developed the independence or the skills you need to be independent," says Founder of the Keener Foundation, Lawrence Keener.
