MOBILE, Ala. (AP) - A 19-year-old man who was in a minor car accident with an unmarked Mobile County sheriff's deputy car was
ultimately slapped with 20 charges.
Mobile Police spokesman Christopher Levy said Monday that Ladavin Jophae Myatt was charged with 16 counts of possession of a forged instrument and obstructing justice using a false identity after the crash.
Myatt was also served warrants charging him with robbery, assault and firearms charges. Police say the charges are linked to a Dec. 14 incident in which Myatt robbed and shot a marijuana dealer after going to buy drugs from him.
The victim's gunshot wound was not life-threatening.
