Suspect charged in death of Ga man found in river

ATLANTA (AP) -- Authorities say they've made an arrest in the death of a man whose body was found in the Chattahoochee River in metro Atlanta.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution (http://bit.ly/O1nyhJ ) quotes Cobb County police as saying 39-year-old Hajja Kennyatta Martin is in custody after his arrest in Atlanta.

Martin was captured by federal marshals and fugitive investigators from Cobb County.

Martin is charged with murder and aggravated assault in the death of 39-year-old Ralph McGhee of Decatur. He's being held without bond, and jail officials didn't return a message Monday seeking comment on whether Martin has a lawyer.

Two fishermen found McGhee's body in the river last week. Investigators haven't said how long the body was in the water.
