MONTGOMERY, Ala. (AP) - A Montgomery public school employee is
under arrest and charged with theft for allegedly stealing from a
school campus.

Police say the 49-year-old custodian from Houston Hill Middle School, Alfonza Stoudemire, is accused of taking equipment from the
school, which is slated to close at the end of the year.

Security cameras helped authorities identify the suspect. School officials say an inventory audit flagged the missing items. Those
items include a variety of electronic equipment including data projectors, cameras and TVs.

Stoudemire could face up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
